Hey, so yesterday when I browsed it suddenly happened for the first time, while I was in youtube I suddenly got a blank screen and I was like what the hell, so I refreshed the page about 10-20 times and it worked fine for a few other vids, then it happened again and again, the same happened on google when I tried to search, what's wrong with firefox, am I the only one having this issue? Please help!

Do you have the latest version of firefox?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

I've deleted everything (including my browsing history & etc.) and it helped out, thanks, I've tried deleting cookies/cached web content/cache earlier but that did not help, deleting everything helped, it seems to be working alright now. Thanks.

oh, unfortunately even though I said I fixed it It just happened again.. I need something else to try now..
