firefox doesn't remenber history

If I tel firefox to rember the history. When I close firefox end restart it again my history is cleared. If I don't restart the history stays.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I installed and used: Places Maintenance 2.0.1 that solved the problem.
