How can I stop "Change your default search......" from showing when I open Firefox?

After the recent update (not the usual update from Firefox, I must admit to being a bit surprised and ticked) I had to reset quite a few things on Firefox. One was setting the default search engine to Google, another was setting Google to the home page, and another was setting the new tabs to open with the home page. Now whenever I open Firefox, this big blue bar comes across the top of the home page: "See how to set Google as your default browser." Or words to that effect. Been there, done that, how do I make this go away.

Thank you, BAB

Google added that to their homepage for people using firefox, and Mozilla has no control over that. If you click "no thanks", it doesn't come back, though.
