The three small lines that I think is the menu button has disappeared, it took some getting used to when it first came out but now it's disappeared I miss it. How do I get it back ? If anyone knows how please reply in simple form as I struggle when anything technical is given me. Thank you.

Hi Jumgochick, That should always be there unless you are in full screen mode, or have an addon changing Firefox to look like an older version.

YOU HAVE CLASSIC THEME RESTORER That is probably causing this if it is enabled. That probably provides similar functions from the orange Firefox button top left.

Generally The keyboard key F11toggles full-screen mode on and off.

  • Try F11 does that help ?
  • Are you able to see the rest of the navigation toolbar: Do you still have the location bar where addresses are entered and the search bar ? Is it only the one icon that has disappeared ?J

Using safe mode will also temporarily disable addons and restore the Firefox menu. That is used as a testing and diagnostic procedure.

Thanks John99 that worked a treat, I disabled my Classic Theme Restorer and up popped my menu button. If only all answers to my posts were as clear and simple as yours I wouldn't have a problem ever again.
