Hello everyone,

From past couple of days i'm observing that my firefox is being used for advertisement, i don't know that if mozilla itself is doing it ot not, But i'm seeing alot double line text adds i.e infolinks and popup adds on each website I open, even popups on Fb and twitter sometime on google.com, all the sites are working perfectly fine on all other browsers on my pc but firefox. Please see if something needs to be done with my system.

This is not due to Mozilla or any version of Firefox from mozilla.org

Looking at your system details (on right of your post) it looks like it is due to the Site Finder extension which is adware and does the things you described. This did not come from Mozilla nor is it hosted at addons.mozilla.org

Hi Yunas, in a first time, i would advice you to clean cookies. You will just have to retype your logins on the websites where you were automatically logged in (but you already know it :) ). And if it doesn't work, i think you should download adwcleaner here or here. This program searches for and deletes Adware, Toolbars, Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUP), and browser Hijackers from your computer. Once the program is downloaded, you just have to launch it.
