Why does Firefox Support screen over-ride every address I try for?

I have spent all day building a website and after I saved it, Firefox shot across my screen and wiped out everything. Now Firefox Support screen wants me to download Firefox and I can't search or use the address bar because Firefox support screen keeps popping up. It is also preventing me from saving the new website I have just spent all night building. Is this intentional because I am getting really peeved?
