According to that article - "We have tested it to be working fine on Mozilla Firefox Version 3.6.0 and above till ver. 14.0 running on Windows 7 64bit"
Might not be compatible with Firefox 25.

Also, that article makes the assumption that each user will be using the default profile, which might not always be the case.

Use Help > Troubleshooting Information -> Show Folder to open the Profile that Firefox is using on your installation.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end side of the Search Bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.

If this hasn't helped then also delete the addons.sqlite file.
