I think Firefox is behind this and I don't like it. People will leave my site for something that has not been authorized on my site. How can I stop this???

There are several add-ons that inject advertising into any page you're viewing. They typically find keywords and double-underline them and when you mouse over them, you get little overlays with advertising.

Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized add-ons on these two tabs:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Particularly with extensions, if you don't know what it is and you don't use it every day, disable it. Then if you see a link above a disabled extension to restart Firefox, you can do that as the last step.

Does that help?

I'm not sure what you mean with "something that has not been authorized".

Can you try to clarify this?

Do they see an error message or is content blocked?

Is this with a normal (http) connection or with a secure (https) connection?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
