java plug in not appearing and all fixes don't work.
I have tried all the solutions suggested in firefox java plug-in related posts and forums - nothing works. am asked to install missing plug in and then told non suitable are available - hello, ever heard of java. am told to do plug-ins reset - that does not work. how about reinstall java - i do and it does not appear in firefox plugins - works great in safari though.
As a long time firefox user i am very disappointed that they have not been able to address such a fundamental browser issue and i am now forced to use safari which at least has no problem loading java content. please firefox, wake up and fix this.

Hi, Thank u for the reply. Have latest java. I am assuming that enabling 64 bit for osx 10.8.4 means unchecking 32 bit in 'get info', so did that and problem solved.
Many thanks.
