I cannot see the internet address bar or the command tool bar on Firefox 3.6

When I open up my Firefox, it displays my home page but I cannot see the internet address window to change it nor do I see my command options at the top of the page.

Thank you Tony. The safe mode trick worked. Now I have my Firefox back. Thank you!

Any ideas for those of us for whom this does not work? I've been through the menu bar is missing post, and I still have no address bar.

After trying everything I could find, I ended up reinstalling Firefox. I have the address bar now.
