I cant find any trace of internet explorer on my pc.How do I re-install?

I installed Firefox recently as Internet Explorer was very sluggish. I now want access to both, but IE seems to have disappeared from my PC altogether. I'm not getting to option to use it as my default, the icon has completely disappeared, there appears to be no ttace of it on my pc, yet when I try to download it again, I'm just told my pc (windows 7) already has it. Where? How do I get it back?

I think your question is better suited for a Windows or IE forum, instead of a Firefox forum. Firefox and IE are 2 separate programs.

One thing you could try is searching through the start menu.
