Hello Firefox team,

I downloaded firefox-142.0.tar.xz and copied the necessary files to the appropriate directories. Unfortunately, I am missing the 24x24 and 256x256 icons. Could you please add these resources?

I would be very grateful if you could help me with this.

Best regards Chris

Hi Chris

I have had a look in the file myself and that is not an icon size we provide by default.

Hello Paul,

that is my issue and the question. I am using Ubuntu and have a directory "~/.local/share/icons/hicolor" with the various sizes 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, and 256x256. To run Firefox locally and without root privileges, I moved the icons to the folders. I did the same with Thunderbird, where all icons were available, including an additional 22x22 icon. The question is whether the two additional images can be distributed by default. However, a vector graphic would also be an alternative.

Hi Chris.

This link will take you to a .zip file with icons in those sizes that you are after:
