So....shame on me, but I have some 19,870 emails dating back a couple of years of which I've done nothing about until now after having other TB email issue. Now it's time to tackle this problem. I've been clicking on my mouse like a robot just going down the line getting rid of all these old emails that at this point mean nothing to me. Obviously after a couple of years they're meaningless and anything important I might've needed, I've dealt with. Is there a way to delete the rest of these unwanted-unneeded emails other than just clicking away as I've been doing. Also....this has caused a problem with compacting my Inbox emails. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Michael....

Hey Matt,

That was so bloody easy! Thank you so very much for your help and the information to store away in the event I somehow allow myself to build up that many emails in the future. Hopefully I won't let that happen again.

Again Matt....thank you so much!

click on a message in the list to select it. press Ctrl+Shift+End to select everything from your point of selection to the end of the list or Ctrl+A to select everything in the list. Press Shift +Delete to delete and bypass the deleted mail folder, or press the delete key to move all of those mails to the deleted mail folder.

Note: Ctrl+Shift+End and Ctrl+A are windows shortcuts, they work in all windows applications that use a list.
