how do I reset what I did to the html of a website?
I am an idiot.
I was reading an article online while half asleep and accidentally did something to the html while scrolling, and now I can't read the articles anymore. is there anyway to 'factory reset' the html of the website on firefox?
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, as well as the good ol' restarting my laptop (which i doubt would've helped)
I also don't know anything about html

What are the symptoms making it unreadable?
For example, if the text size went haywire, there should be a button in the address bar with a percentage. Clicking that will restore 100% zoom.

Is this only happening on that website or are all websites affected?
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be careful. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.
