Does Mozilla VPN work with OpenVPN
I need a VPN solution that works with gaming consoles, like a Nintendo Switch or Xbox One. This is a must-have, not merely a nice-to-have: the only reason I am shopping for a VPN is to resolve connection problems in online video games, which extensive testing and research has revealed is caused by my ISP's crummy NAT situation (which is very common in the United States and will only get worse). The only realistic solution is to use a VPN. This is why I am here, now.
Installing a custom VPN app on gaming consoles is obviously not an option. This means my home router must be responsible for handling the VPN connection. (I would also prefer that instead of running custom software on every device; I have many.)
I have confirmed that my router hardware works with DD-WRT, which means I can use any VPN compatible with OpenVPN.
Does Mozilla VPN work with OpenVPN?
If not, does Mozilla VPN provide software that can be installed on a home router? Apparently that is also possible with a router running DD-WRT, and I'm open to it.
This is a deal-breaker for me. I need straight answers, and can't accept any substitutes; I wish I could.

ETA: I know there are other VPN providers out there who do support this, but Mozilla is my strong preference, for political reasons related to the web. I am prepared to jump through many hoops to give Mozilla my business. I have been unable to determine from public information whether sufficient hoops even exist.

It has been almost 3 weeks since I asked this straightforward yes-or-no question.
I know this website is staffed by volunteers, but it's also the only place to send questions about the product. If this is indicative of the level of responsiveness I can expect when I have questions or problems as a paying customer, then I should obviously eliminate Mozilla VPN from consideration. And so should every other consumer.
I searched for DD-WRT, and found this:

So, the answer was "no" as of January 2021, and I've seen no newer information.
This answers my question, although it clearly does not "solve" my problem.
This answer suggests that Mullvad VPN has a comparable price and featureset, and in fact uses the same network infrastructure as Mozilla VPN. And Mullvad apparently works with OpenVPN.

Mullvad may be the solution to my problem. I'm not thrilled about losing the opportunity to support Mozilla with my business, but I'm not going to rent a product that I can't use.
Hello!
Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the delay,
Unfortunately, the Mozilla VPN doesn't work with other VPNs. If you would like to use the Mozilla VPN in your computer you would have to uninstall any other VPN software.
Additionally, the VPN is not currently ready for manual configuration for use at the router/modem level.
I hope you may find this helpful,
