email is blocked by thunderbird after I uninstalled AVG.

I have uninstalled AVG. Thunderbird still blocks my email. It has been very difficult contacting you people. You need more staff who are IT and communications majors. This is frustrating. Dave C.,

This is a volunteer forum, so you will not get to pick and choose who deals with your problems. You came here three years ago and asked a question, so it should not be that hard to find.

However as you have not mentioned any sort of error message, I am at a loss as to how to advise you on your problem. What does blocks my email mean?

I uninstalled AVG. Thunderbird is blocking incoming email from people who use to be able to send me email. They say AVG is blocking it. How can I get Thuderbird to ignore AVG attempts to block my email. I am a bit frustrated. Could you give me the email of a real Thunderbird Staff perso or IT expert. It is night here. I have had this problem for a couple days now and have been unable to contact anybody in Thunderbird. Thanks, Dave C.

What part of Volunteer did you miss. I am in Australia, other support folks reside all round the world, but as for an office or phone, Thunderbird project has neither, let alone a support one.

So I still do not get your assertion.

I assume Thunderbird is offering some sort of error dialog about server responding or being unable to contact. or is it only mail from "some senders" you are not making the issue clear.

Perhaps you could offer the exact error they are seeing. it is impossible to guess. I need facts to work from.

Clearly, even though you "uninstalled" AVG, it is still functioning.

Have you tried https://www.avg.com/en-us/avg-remover ??
