I'm using the Mailchimp popup email form. When viewed in Firefox in a regular window, it loads after 5 seconds. When viewed in a private window, it doesn't load. What is causing a private window to disable this functionality?

Thanks ahead of time.

Please give this a try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 58.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I followed these steps and it did not resolve the issue. I've tested it on another system and get the same result. Does it work on your system in a Private Window?

I get only the word "test" and a blank page in Private Browsing.

I still have no idea why ad blockers are blocking stuff in Private Browsing but am blocking 2 in Ghostery and 3 in uBlock Origin and forcing HTTPS connections 5 with HTTPS Everywhere.

I did look at the code and it is filled with work arounds for Firefox. The HTML Code is not bad enough to cause errors.

Since it is your mail program suggest not using Private Browsing and except all if using any blockers.

You can also go to Options then Privacy & Security and check your settings there and maybe allow exceptions for the site.
