Hi!

Have a problem with my Firefox. Hope, you will be able to help.

Problem: Laptop. Using at work and at home. Firefox works fine at home. But at work it says "Unable to connect" for any web page.

Details: - Other browsers works fine (IE, Chrome). - Proxy settings are same in all browsers (Auto-detect). - Must not be a firewall (at least local one) since same Firefox on same Laptop works fine at home. - Following recommendations, network.dns.disablePrefetch = true. Doesn't help. - Following recommendations, network.dns.disableIPv6 = true. Doesn't help.

Only one idea in my head - corporate (remote) firewall blocks my Firefox. But this doesn't sound as a good explanation. Maybe some troubles in Firefox with proxy settings detection? Failed to Google a remedy.. Hope, you will manage to help.

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

Solved the problem. Or it's better to say - found a workaround. In Firefox I configured connection to the proxy manually - after this Firefox able to open web pages. Options "Detect proxy settings automatically" and "Use system configuration" doesn't work still. So, I just stopped using them and had to do a manual configuration.

Hope, this experience will help somebody!
