Lost history and downloads logs. How do I recover after Firefox Update/Upgrade
The Mozilla error reporter is appearing everytime I try to start firefox. I click send to report and nothing happens. I tried looking for an icon to update firefox since it was trying to do that automatically before. Since I could not start Firefox I had no choice but to use Internet Explorer. I type the keywords "update firefox" and clicked on the link to update firefox directed to support.mozilla.org. It started to ether upgrade or update firefox. When it finished, I was then able to start firefox but when I went to check download history it was not there and I checked web browsing history and that was gone too. How can I get back these logs. There are logs at least from two years of browsing and downloading and I need to know where i've been and what I downloaded.
How to I recover it? and can you explain the behavior after upgrading/updating firefox. It should not have touched this information.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Yes I do see a folder called Old Firefox Data. Inside it though, I don't see a date close to when this problem happened to me, but there are three folders dated for August and September 2015 and 5 others for 2014.
You asked if I see Old Firefox. Does this mean that every other profile has it's own individual folder by user profile? I also log into my PC using other profiles.

Each user has a Firefox profile folder. Each folder has one or more profiles. Note: Some use more than one profile.
If the user, or a Firefox problem, resets the browser, the current profile is moved onto a folder on the desktop for the user to salvage data.
Each Windows logon user account will have its own Firefox Profile. And each logon user can create additional Firefox Profiles, but only the "default" Profile per Logon user account can Reset or Refresh Firefox. Only the default Profile will end up placing an Old Firefox folder on the desktop and only for that Windows logon user account; other Old Firefox data from a Refresh won't appear from another logon user account. If you have 8 sets of Old Firefox folders, that would indicate you did 8 Refreshes to your default Profile between 2014 and 2015. Your most recent data would be in the newest folder by date.
