How to change a search engine for new tab?
My default search engine is Google, but when opening a new tab the search engine Bing launches. How can I change this to Google? I have tried changing it from the list of search engines in search settings but to no avail. please assist anyone.

Bookmark and use this; Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
