why did my bookmarks not sync in correct order from Google Chrome?
My first bookmark from Google was a small page in which I use quite frequently. Instead of putting it at the first position (where in was in Chrome), Fox put that particular bookmark in the list (so I have to use the arrow to view it). I know how to move it, but that is not my question. What formula does Firefox use to order its bookmarks? It's not by alphabetical order - perhaps size. This occurred upon my download of MF. Thanks for any help in rhyme or reason as to how bookmarks are synched to MF from another browser. Ann1483

Hi ann1483, Firefox orders its bookmarks by last bookmarked afaik. If you are interested in the technical functions/code you can search the lxr code http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-centra.../search for importing bookmarks.
Right clicking and selecting sorting a-z would put them in alphabetical order.
