I have tried all of the suggestions -passwords and logins are not saving. The lists are empty. Please help.
I imported my profile from my other pc and my bookmarks are there but my pws and logins were not imported. I figured I would just reset up a master and start over but no matter what I do the logins and passwords do not show up in the list.

Did you copy a signons.sqlite file as well or do you have it in the current profile as that might cause problems?
Does it work if you delete the logins.json and key3.db and a possible signons.sqlite file to make Firefox create new files?

What Firefox version is used on the other PC?
Did you use an extension like FEBE or did you manually copy files?
Firefox 32 and later builds store the passwords in the logins.json file in the profile folder and no longer use the signons.sqlite file that has been used before (the matching key3.db file is still needed).

The "Remember Password" extension has been reported to cause issues with the passwords disappearing, so if you have this extension then remove (uninstall) it.

I didn't mind resetting the password. The issue is even after the reset, I keep clicking 'SAVE' and they never show up in my list. I just reset firefox to default and no passwords or logins are saving.. I went to quite a few sites and logged in again and 'saved' the passwords and logins with no luck. Even reset the browser and pc. I'm not sure what version I was running before. I just backed up my Firefox profile folders before upgrading . Followed the instructions to migrate the file over manually. Bookmarks/toolbar and history worked fine. I'm over importing the info. I just want the new logins and passwords to work. Is it possible that I migrated a specific file that is botching it up? Thanks for the feedback.

Deleted signons.sqlite, key3.db and logins.json and VOILA! Thanks for your help!!
