Problems with bookmarks and history........
Bookmarks seem to be saved and I can view them under 'organize bookmarks' but I cannot view them on the browser toolbar. When I saved them days/weeks ago they appeared normally for some time and now they are not visible on the browser toolbar---starting today 11/30.
I cannot view history for previous days/current month, it is only shown for current day. I think this happened since the most current update of Firefox.
I have checked Profiles, I only have one. I have no extensions or themes.
I am on a 2006 MacBook Pro running original OS that came with laptop.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
- Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
- Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up
Make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the "Browsing History"

Today I open Firefox and my bookmarks are back and visible on the browser---go figure!? Yesterday only some of them had disappeared so it was not a case of the toolbar being entirely invisible, only some of the items did not display. The one I use the most only showed one bookmark listed instead of the 10 or 15 on that list, it did not show the various folders in that category, either. Most of the bookmarks on the browser toolbar were visible, it was just one or two that showed the bookmark name but when I rolled over that category either nothing showed in the list or only one item. I had to go into "organize bookmarks" each time in order to access the full list and get to the web site I wanted.
