The computer I have is a Mac G4 with system 10.5.8 installed and working well. The processor is 1GHZ The memory is 768 MB DDR SDRAM I hate the idea of giving up this computer, just because I can't run the latest version of Firefox.

Sorry, Firefox 4 and later version don't support PPC Macs.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4.0 & 5.0, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .
