when I load some sites, such as the stuff nz website the homepage appears as a series of lists in basic times roman print, not the way it is meant to look. When I use IE or safari it comes out just fine

Try deleting cookies and cache:

1. Tools| Clear recent history

2. Time range to clear: Everything

3. If it isn't already selected, select Cookies and Cache


4. Clear now

Test for the problem
