The address book you want to import should be in VCF (vCard) format or CSV (Comma Separated Values) format. VCF is preferred. Use Thunderbird's Import Tool to import the addresses:

- Go to menu option <Tools | Import> (if the Menu Bar is hidden, press <Alt> or <F10> to reveal it) then choose "Import from a file" and follow the prompts.
