All incoming email going into one folder
Since the last (v155) update, TBird started putting all incoming email into one subfolder under my main inbox. I have several message filters that sort incoming mail into various folders. When I disabled the message filter associated with the folder in question, the email started coming into my inbox folder again. The message filter connected to that folder has not been changed in a while, and is a "match any of the following" rule with a number of specific from/contains/[text] entries. When I examined the filter closely, I found two rules where the [text] field was blank, which apparently was causing the problem, but as I said, I haven't changed the filter in a while - what recent change might have caused this? (Either adding empty fields or else considering [blank] to be equivalent to [any].)

Empty text fields may mean a blank space. I would not recommend an empty text field because it is ambiguous and in theory could mean it matches all or nothing.
I've just looked at the 155.0 release notes and it does mention a couple of fixes regarding filters, but I'm not sure of the details.
I've also been checking for bugs that may have been previously reported and found the following:
Please download and install https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/candidates/155.0.1-candidates/build1/win64/en-US/Thunderbird%20Setup%20155.0.1.exe if you are running 155.0 on Windows - it has a fix which has been tested. We would value your immediate feedback that it resolves your problem without introducing new problems.
