Cannot delete Cloudflare window

Bonnie2

Only with Deepl, I click on this program and immediately I get a window which says "Checking if the connection is secure". Underneath this, I have to check a box which says "Verify if you are human", with the Cloudflare logo.

I've tried everything to get rid of this as it slows me up. I've tried Settings/Installed Apps, Search, Programs etc but it is not contained in any of these lists. I contacted Cloudflare who gave me some suggestions which didn't work (can't remember them), then said it was part of Mozilla and it was them that have attached this window so I need to contact you to get rid of it.

Can you help me please?

Hi, we are not owners of Deepl nor Cloudflare.

This does not answer my question.

Cloudflare told me that it was part of the Mozilla program.

Hi just because someone wants Mozilla to be the responsible one, doesn't equate the fact that 'they' set up this check.

One thing you can do is to try another browser to see how that fares.

Is the problem the numbers of times you are asked?

You can block popups, and sites etc. and you could Allow All cookies any of which may effect the way Firefox interacts with Cloudflare.

Hello Amoun,

I am using Mozilla Firefox and do not have this problem with Chrome so it seems to me that it is a MF problem?

It shows every time I open Deepl, even if I have just closed it. It will not "go" until I check the box.

Could I ask you to explain your last sentence please?

My guess their answer was the user installed "privacy" addons that tamper with the sites — that then trigger the human verification.

Try restarting into Troubleshoot Mode (from Help menu) and open a new Private Window there and try the same site(s), to see if you still get challenged by Cloudflare. If yes, it's the site operator's choice. If not, it's your addons interfering.

Thanks jbr, I'll try this later!
