Firefox seems to be stuck and won't let me sign in to an account

When I try to get to the SSA website it looks like my account is open but I can not sign out or in. It continues to give me this message. "Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

I can sign in with another browser. I have used chrome or safari.

Can you help me out?

Could you try clearing the cache, site date etc. and cookies for the site, could just be old session details that are messing . . .
