Thunderbird 148.0 breaks AOL authentication

Thunderbird updated to 148.0 today and I'm no longer getting mail from my AOL accounts (iMap). I get a screen that appears to be a signin for Oauth2 but when I enter my account info I get an AOL screen that indicates I should login with a browser already used. When I do that I login fine but still can't access the account with Thunderbird.

You'll have to allow cookies in Thunderbird for the OAuth2 authentication to work. There is no point using a different browser.

Cookies are already allowed.

To get around this problem I changed from Oauth2 to using an APP Password and all is well.
