Checking for new mail on startup
When I start Mozilla it checks for new mail. It always says no new mail. When I click on get messages if there are any new ones I get them downloaded. Why doesn't the first check find new mail as it used to? Thanks

Did you choose the "Global Inbox" for this POP account in Account Settings > Server Settings > Advanced...?
Why "No"? "Inbox for different account > Local folder" is exactly what I suspected and what my first screen shot showed. Did you activate ✔︎ Include this server when getting new mail? Otherwise Thunderbird never will check automatically for new mail in this POP inbox ....
Is the ✔︎ check mark set in all POP accounts in their respective Advanced Account Settings ?
