So you didn't backup your profile and data, bookmark, logins on a usb as a file or html file to restore to the new setup? This is the way to correctly restore your data back-sync isn't used for backups it's sync from device to server to device assuming the other device the data still exists but when the original data from the other is gone sync will not keep the data since there isn't a device to sync back to - to update the data.
