When I select text in message compose window, the text select colour remains white, same as the background colour. I'm using dark theme in message composer just to avoid this problem.

Miui - android 10 I think an update to Thunderbird broke this. Else it was working perfectly.

I'm using Thunderbird on my Chromebook. I can't use the pointer to open the "more options" menu (the three dots) in the email to get to forward and other options. Hovering over the dots shows the "More Options" message, but clicking does not open the menu. I have a touch screen chromebook and discovered that I can touch the three buttons and it opens. Once the menu is opened, the mouse pointer works to select forward and the other options.

I'm using Thundebrird version 17.0 on Android 15. I sent last month an email (from Thundebrird Desktop) to multiple people and got from around 20 of them responses which I critically need to preserve. I deleted none of them (intentionally). Today I found out that 15 of them disappeared from my inbox, when checking on Thunderbird on my laptop. On my phone I can find those 15 in my trash folder grouped together. I was super relieved to find these critical responses but also confused since I definitely didn't delete 15 of those emails. Most likely they were grouped together and I swipe delete them by accident. I mark each of them and select "move to" -> "Inbox". And now they just vanished. They are no longer in my trash and don't show up in my inbox. Normally when I move from deleted to inbox they move fine, same for spam.

Anything I could do? Anywhere I could look for these emails?

Hi. I use Thunderbird Android 17.0 on my phone and tablet. Everything is great on the phone.

On the tablet, unified inbox worked fine until two days ago. Now, no email goes into the unified inbox and I have to open accounts individually to see email. The unified inbox still shows, but the last email in there is from two days ago. I did not change any settings and berichten that the checkbox is checked to show the unify inbox.

What cohort have caused this and how can I fix it?

I installed Thunderbird on a new Motorola Razr running Android 15. It worked just fine for a few days, but now will not download any new emails (GMail on the same phone is working fine). I have two accounts installed. One (much smaller) seems to be working fine, while the other is only partially working. Namely, I can only see emails from Monday or earlier (today is Thursday).

If I use my desktop to delete one of the older messages that is displayed on the phone, it will be removed from the phone the next time I swipe down and have it refresh the inbox. If I use the desktop to update the read/unread status of an email that does appear one the phone, that is not updated when I refresh the phone.

It is a recently added account, is it possible that the device is just downloading older messages and is backed up? I don't know where or how I could access the activity monitor (or whatever the proper name is) to see what the program is or is not doing.

I am having a configuration problem on my Android phone, configure it from the application installed on my Windows laptop. I receive my emails but they are periodically completely deleted during message synchronization. how to resolve this malfunction? THANKS

Imported desktop settings to TB Android on my phone. Used your instructions and seemed to go well (done it before). Android install of both Gmail accounts I imported are 'stuck' showing ONLY the outboxes. Can't get anywhere else. What do I need to do to correct the install on my phone. Desktop install was done manually and seems to work.

Hi team. Recently, I downloaded the app, but I noticed that the incoming emails are updated every 15 minutes. Could you please reduce the time into 1 min? Also is there any notification for incoming emails? I made folders for better correspondence with clients. Still there is no notification for incoming email.

Hello, this problem is driving me mad and I am at the point where I give up with Thunderbird

What's happening is "random" emails go into the outbox and stay there, I have no choice but to delete them.

There is no rhyme or reason for this.

The majority of emails send, even to the address that will randomly stay in outbox. !!

I have deleted the account and reinstalled it, used the same settings that are on another account that I don't have a problem with.

I am using android on galaxy tablet.

Anyone have any ideas

On my Android phone, emails from my thunderbird account are no longer synching. I no longer get emails on the phone app. I currently have version 17 installed, and nothing happens when I tap on sync account. The only thing showing in the window is "Load up to 100 more". And nothing happens when I tap it. I'm lost and don't understand whats happening.

Llevo días intentando añadir una cuenta de outlook a la aplicación del móvil (en el ordenador, tras varios intentos, sí lo he conseguido).

Se trata de una cuenta personal y aunque ya he habilitado IMAP, no me da la opción de habilitar SMTP, que es lo que me está fallando.

El error que aparece es:

"El servidor devolvió el siguiente mensaje: Authentication unsucessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the mailbox."

He probado también a cambiar el servidor por smtp.office365.com, pero tampoco lo consigo de esta forma. ¡Ah! y está con Oauth2 también.

Me tiene un poco desesperada el tema, así que toda ayuda es bienvenida.

In Thunderbird for Android, Thunderbird does not notify a received email, when: I have created a setting with a rule/line, where this email is moved to a underlaying folder.

I have The Thunderbird email client on my Android phone. It worked for a while, but is no longer downloading emails. The only thing that shows is "Load 100 more" , but when I tap on it it does not load anymore emails.

I cannot connect my gmail account to Thunderbird for Android (although no problem whatsoever in Thunderbird for Computer). It always fails when Thunderbird tries to connect the SMTP outgoing server. Then it says after a while NETWORK ERROR failed to connect to smtp.gmail.com .... I am using the standard IMAP configurations. Please help.

I am unable to send emails from android Thunderbird, I have something called a unified mailbox plus 2 that have my correct email address. When I send an email it sits in the outbox of the first one with my correct email address and won't send even after selecting send messages. Why do I have a unified mailbox plus 2 others? Thanks
