Brand new installation and unable to browse secure sites while Google and IE do it properly. It sounds like it does not import certificates.

I just downloaded and installed Firefox (2013-02-06) v18.0.2. It can't browse any secure (at least 2 internal websites) websites. I think we usually use Entrust certificate. IE and Chrome does it properly without any problems or any specific configuration. If I follow your instruction, I would have to add exception which is totally silly because certifcates exists on my machine. Althought I do that, one website which absolutely need entrust certificate give security error.

I have McAfee antivirus but it couldn't be the problem because both 2 other browser just work fine.

It sounds like you have a setup problem. I think you should be able to import certificates or read current user certificates.

Thanks Eric

If you use a rules-based firewall, do you have a rule permitting Firefox to talk to its security component via TCP through the localhost address? You need to have that to use secure pages with Mozilla browsers.

McAfee can cause problems with Mozilla browsers. It has a history of doing that.
