how can i get my bookmarks back, after mozilla crashed and got stuck in safe mode?

I was using mozilla as usual when suddenly it crashed and then my computer turned off. i restarted it and said it had gone into safe mode. i tried to restart the computer again but it was stuck on safe mode. The bad part is that all my bookmarks are gone and apparently there is no way of getting them back.
