Pushy and unwanted software suggestions
When i browse using Firefox it has started to recommend I install extensions and use other Firefox features. This is entirely unwelcome and unwanted. It feels suspicious to be suggested third party software, and it feels invasive to get contextual feature suggestions. Please stop these spam advertisements.

As said in the article, you can opt out of these recommendations the following way:
- Click the menu button and select Settings.
- In the General panel, go down to the Browsing section.
- Uncheck the box next to "Recommend extensions as you browse" and the box next to "Recommend features as you browse".
