Change re email address
Hi - can anyone help a pretty stupid old lady who is completely out of my depth! The email address I have been using for Thunderbird is actually my husbands, and I now want to have my own account/address. Everything is the same except for the first name on the email 'programme'. How can I change the address mail goes to from Roy@...... to Sheila@...... This is probably something quite simple, but for me its like moving a mountain! I would really appreciate anyone's advice re this. Thankyou very much indeed.

Hi Sheila,
You will have to create a new e-mail account with your mail service and then set up the account in Thunderbird to retrieve and send mail through that account. Who hosts your husband's e-mail account? Google? Apple? Microsoft?
Do you want mail addressed to your husband's account to go to your new account? Then you will set a forwarding option at his account.
