Selection of Inbox to receive emails from online email account

I have two Inboxes in which to receive emails from my online account using POP email forwarding. The emails are going into the online account's Inbox in Thunderbird, but I want them to go into the Inbox in my Local Folders. It's not a big issue, but a matter of preference. Otherwise I have no problems in Thunderbird.

A POP account can have only the default mailbox. To redirect elsewhere, I suggest a simple filter to move to the preferred local folder.

Hi David. Thanks for your reply. Since posting my question, I found that I can designate the Local Folders Inbox to store my online account's emails in Account Settings> Server Settings> Advanced Settings >"When downloading mail from this account's server, use the following folder to store new messages".
