I'm on Android 11, Oxygen 11.0.13.BE.89BA

Whenever I open up Firefox and enter a website or a google search nothing happens.

No loading screen, no crash, just nothing.

Uninstalling it and reinstalling it works once, but then the second time I open Firefox I'm back to the same issue.

Google Chrome works just fine, and I'm not having any issues related to data or wifi.

Hi

We are currently looking into this issue and would appreciate your help in trying to establish what is happening.

Did you access Firefox for Android from the icon or from a link from another app?

Did you have tabs open already?

Without giving specifics, what type of sites were you looking at? Mainly text based or YouTube with lots of videos?

Would you be interested in working with our developers to look into this further?

I accessed it from the application icon in my apps drawer.

No tabs open, I tried to access sites like Google, Wikipedia etc.

I'll try to help to the best of my ability.

Hi Mcmanybucks, there is a bug on file with the developers that has quite a list of questions:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1840665#c26

Some of the steps are more technical than others, but as much as you can contribute may be helpful. If you do not want to set up a Bugzilla account, you could paste the NON-PERSONAL parts here (please carefully review before posting to ensure you aren't sharing sensitive data). You also can see what others are reporting in the bug in case that sheds any light on the problem or possible workarounds.
