I have set up a new email address for my to use my existing domain i.e. I am joe@my domain.com and I have set up an email with my provider for jane@mydomain.com. I can send emails with her email jane@mydomain.com but we cannot receive anything. Do I have to reconfigure something in my 'settings' in order for her to receive her emails ?

Thanks !

Did you set up a separate account for her account? If you did, there should be two incoming servers that are identical except for account info, and two identical SMTP servers except for account info,

Hi David,

Thanks very much for responding !

I have not set up a separate account as I was afraid that I might cause a problem with my primary account, and I do not know how to set up a separate account in her name ?

How do I do this David - if you don't mind ?

Thanks again.

Start with File>New>existing email account and then fill in the information. The process will create a second email account, separate 100% from yours, but will have same servers defined, but you will need to enter that information during setup.

Thank you David ! I'll give that a try when I have a minute.

Hi David,

Under 'your full name' is this where I put in my wife's name ? Under 'email address' is this where I put my wife's name @mydomain.com ? Password; is this the one that has been given to her when I set up her email with my provider ?

Thanks very much David, I am just very nervous about interfering with my main email me@mydomain.com

Thanks !

Yes, Exactly. Since it is for her, that is what will distinguish her account from yours, as otherwise, all the remaining info, such as incoming server, outgoing server, will be the same.
