Is there an option to restore not just the previous session, but the session before that?

It seems it wipes everything on each close, I figure that might be a security feature, but it would be really helpful if there was a plugin/add-on or better yet an option to keep session up to X amount. Since firefox is my default broswer sometimes I will open a link thru an app and close it, forgetting that it will delete my previous session. Then it is impossible to open up those tabs again as I keep them open for a while.

Please let me know if there is an easy solution to this.

Sincerely, Dylan I

Here's how to get back your tabs and windows from a previous session using the Firefox menu: Click the menu button to open the menu panel. Click History, then Select Restore Previous Session.

When Firefox starts, a single window is opened by default, displaying your specified home page. You can set Firefox to always show your windows and tabs from your previous session each time you start Firefox. To change your Firefox startup settings: Click the menu button and select Settings. Select the General panel. Below Startup select Open previous windows and tabs. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

built-in Firefox session restore only keeps the most recent session although it saves upgrade files in the sessionstore-backups folder when you update Firefox. You can search the Add-ons website for a session manager extension if you want to keep more sessions.
