Thank you I do not have any other computers accessing this one. I have been OK until I installed an update. I have looked for a manual change but can not find it. To day I saw it delete 40 E-M from my in box,

usually that is caused by another device retrieving and deleting the emails. A phone or tablet perhaps

I did not say that.
Do you get mail for that mail address, or anyone else get mail for that address on another device.
No just me, I do have a laptop but it is unplugged and off most of the time when this happens. Years ago when I first set up the e-mail I think I remember something about deleting e-mail for in box and I selected manual [ not to be done auto.] I want to do it. Some months back we had an update from Mozilla, that is when all this started and now I can not find that selection to change it back to manual. Thanks Bob
