Is Ad Block Plus (ABP) Still Supported in Thunderbird?

more options

After update of Thunderbird to 54.b2 (32 bit) my Ad Block Plus add on now longer functions. I can select the filters but they do not take effect and are not active when Thunderbird is closed and opened again. (I am considering switching to Thunderbird 52.1.1 Release Version to test ABP functionability).

Do not use beta releases if you want add ons to work. Version 52.1.1 is the latest general release.

Do you have a good reason for running beta?

It is up to add on creators to make their software compatible with Thunderbird not the other way around. Any questions about ad ons need to go to the add on creator.

Snarky answer; not helpful. I don't owe a reason for using a Beta. Regardless, I switched to a different extension (Ad-Blocker) and it works fine.

I did not owe you any help either. Have a good day.
