In regards to steps which have been done, I don't know because I try to fix the laptop of my father and I don't know what he did. He often delete his eMails, maybe he has delete the folder instead of eMail, I don't know. What I only see is the inbox folder is not there, we cannot receive and not create a new email

He has, I think, deleted his account. in the list of accounts there are old yahoo and facebook chat accounts, but no mail accounts listed at all.

click the show profile button in the top of the Thunderbird troubleshooting information.

Windows explorer should open and you will see a mail folder and an imapmail folder. Have a look in both and see if there is a folder for yahoo?

If the residue is in IMAP mail, simply adding the account again should synchronize the server contents to Thunderbird.

I'm going to try to reactivate the account. It takes me time. I didn't been successful yet. But I hope is only my fault. I come back as soon I was able to reactivate it. Thank you so much.
