Default folders are usually set in a specific order - not necessarilly in alphabetical order eg: * Inbox * Drafts * Templates * Sent * Archives * Junk * Deleted * then a list of folders you created in alphabetical order. first check you have this view: View > Folders > All It would help if you could provide some more info: What is the name of the folder you created? Is the new created folder in a POP or IMAP mail account? Can you provide an image of your Folder Pane and say what folder you want it above or below? Where do you want to position the new folder?
