Firefox crashes
Firefox crashed, then tried to restart several times, and I ended up with a folder labeled "Old Firefox Data" on my desktop. How do I get back everything I lost that is now, apparently, in that folder?

hello DarthExsecratus, what kind of data do you want to recover - essential data like your bookmarks & passwords shouldn't be affected by a reset?
I literally lost all my information, down to the settings. The crash was so bad that it literally reset everything, as if I had just downloaded and installed Firefox for the very first time. I don't save passwords on my browser, and I managed to recover my favorites, but I've had to re-download all my addons and everything else I have ever done to my browser. One minute Firefox was working fine, the browser locks up, I close it and try to restart it, it crashes several times, this mystery folder ends up on my desktop and Firefox is wiped to a clean slate. I do not think this was just a reset, this was a full on crash with zero survivors.
First let's work on the crashes. After, the user profiles.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
