when i type a url in the location bar pressing enter does not take me to the sight I must selcted a right arrow with my mouse. can i change this option to just accept enter function

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
