Firefox ho an'i iOS Community Forum

My wife recently ended up on a malicious site (onlineghostaccount.com) that appeared to cause Firefox to lock up. I think it trapped Firefox in an endless loop, because it wasn't even possible to close the tab or change to a different one. The only thing Firefox would respond to is a button on the malicious page that would take her to a scammer claiming to be Apple support. Fortunately, she didn't fall for it, but Firefox was rendered unusable for her until I could help her fix the problem. The quick fix to get Firefox operational again by closing Firefox, shutting off network access, and then re-launching Firefox so the malicious page can't load works, but is not helpful to non-technical people like my wife, because she doesn't understand what's happening or what to do about it.

My question is: Is there any way that Firefox could detect this type of "endless loop" behavior before the page loads, prevent it from loading, and popping a warning to the user?

Firefox iOS 152.3 (73911) default bookmark folder names aren’t always displayed correctly. If you access your bookmarks you correctly see “Unsorted Bookmarks”, “Bookmarks Toolbar” and “Bookmarks Menu”. However, when you go these folders, the title changes to “unfiled”, “toolbar”, and “menu”.

I’m trying to find out what I need to do to keep safe browser because mine keeps getting hacked or something. I got a managed device apparently and I can’t even search the web to see how to fix it

Okay so this never happened with Chrome, so I'm assuming it's a firefox only issue. Whilst I'm watching a video, if said video is playing in fullscreen, it'll often fade to black during different parts, such as whenever a flash happens or quick cuts (e.g. a film with lightning strikes, causes it to fade to black and it stays like that). It is SUPER annoying and it causes me to have to rewind if I miss something because of it! I don't watch YouTube in fullscreen because of it, but it even does it in streaming services! I honestly have had enough but do not want to switch back to Chrome.

Took this photo of the movie Cruella because I knew there was loads of flashing lights at one scene. You can see that the video is faded but the rest isn't. The second image is when I click multiple times to try and stop it! But it happens again directly after.

And yes, I've tried the 'full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter' and 'leave' in Advanced Preferences.

I can’t seem to get rid of this website. It is called.SaYes ToHealth, now every time I go to my Firefox browser it pops up. I have hit unsubscribe multiple times and it does not leave my screen. It is a questionable website and I don’t know how it ever got through to get the information of my account which is leaking my email address.
