I cannot get Flash to work on Firefox to play Youtube, but it will on IE.
YouTube plays fine and flash works fine in IE and it shows that it is installed on the test page, but when I am using Firefox, youtube will not play at all. I have uninstalled all Flash on my computer and reinstalled it, etc., as per forum instructions. I have a 64bit system and am running Wiindows 7.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See:
- Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
- Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
- Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Thanks!
Hi Cor-El, here is what is going on now. Last night in desperation I downgraded to FlashPlayer 9. When I got onto IE on YouTube it told me that I needed to upgrade and all of a sudden, YouTube started working on Firefox again.
It quit earlier again for no apparent reason. I went through the troubleshooting pages, etc, followed all of your instructions, and it says that an extension or theme is NOT the problem, and when I went to the plug-ins, I did everything that it asked and still no luck.
