It seems that saving mails af text.files has been changed within the last month. Becouce the filename in the overwiev has been shortent and supplied with " ... - " - wher can I find a decription of that ?

I know of no way to change that behavior. I believe that it's intended to avoid file names that are too long. But check out the add-on "ImportExportTools NG" (https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/) which lets you specify the default name of the saved message.
